As Director of 360 Degrees Training, Paul Craven brings 20 years of experience in the education sector to creating new approaches in staff development and training, focusing on the needs of managers as well as staff groups working in Social Care, Mental Health and Education.

Organisations that Paul has delivered training for include Mind, Mencap, Essex Cares, London Borough of Redbridge, Wallsall Council, the Maudsley Hospital, Southwark College, The Association of Colleges, Contact a Family and Turning Point.

Paul is committed to modern methods and thinking, and to pushing the boundaries around learning disabilities, mental health, education and diversity.

Having begun his career leading creative music and drama workshops for people with disabilities, Paul then moved to run the Supported Learning Department in a top London College for six years, with a team of 35 staff.

As Disability Progression Manager his brief included responsibility for all aspects of disability legislation.

In his role as a specialist, freelance trainer, consultant and project manager, he also worked with organisations as diverse as MIND, Mencap and the Maudsley Hospital, through to the Almeida Theatre, the London Sinfonietta Orchestra and the South Bank Centre.

Paul’s formal qualifications include a certificate in Business Management in Education from the Centre for Excellence in Leadership, and a Cert. Ed. with a specialism in Learning Difficulties.

He has also completed a Counselling course at the Tavistock Clinic, a Coaching course with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership, and the Trainer Development Programme at the National Autistic Society.
